Clothing - Her clothes are usually white and black. Her top is a form fitting halter. Her skirt is split, in the same way as most female ninja wear theirs, and transitions from black to white using a fern leaf design and ending in points that also mimic leaves. Her sword is fastened on with black straps on her waist. Her soft leather boots are black and tied on.

Family:
Mother- an expert swordsmanship tutor. She is the one Neena got her ideal of pride from. 55 year old retired jounin. Father- a medical nin who specializes in complex surgery. He is serious, proper, and it annoys Neena. He is a bit disappointed that she did not become a medical nin. 58 year old jounin. Little Brother- She never sees him anymore, even when she tries to catch up to him. The two siblings are always sent in opposite directions. He is a lot like his father. 15 year old chunin.

Neena is a high energy young woman who can be described as bubbly or hyper. She’s known for taking chances on missions that endanger her own life but put others out of harm’s way. At times, she can be very blunt and sometimes even rude, but she is honest.

Nothing is more calming for Neena than being up on top of a high building playing with some kind of candle or matches. When she is up high, she feels out of reach and untouchable. It is common for her to attack from above. When she isn’t on a mission, she can often be found at an abandoned kenjutsu training ground her mother used to use. She comes here to think or to train in peace. Neena often feels like her ninjutsu is too far beyond her taijutsu and seeks to set them both on an even field. Sometimes she eats her sushi or spicy chicken at the training ground, if she feels the need to continue her training quickly.

Her fear of spiders is petrifying. When facing the eight legged menaces she will completely freeze up if she sees them or feels them on her. It enrages her for people to make fun of her hair. It is a family trait to have long red hair and she refuses to cut it until it gets in her way. She will at least punch a person if they make fun of her hair, at most, she will slice them up. She and her father are not on the best of terms. He is disappointed that she didn’t become a medical nin, but some of that has calmed down now that her brother has decided to follow in his footsteps. It’s normal for her to avoid her father to some degree, his overly serious and proper nature alone is enough to annoy her. It’s normal for Neena to get bored easily, especially if she had to wait on someone else. She will whine and groan and make a fuss until the person is ready or until she is out of their presence. Even through she is an adult, when under medical car, they have to force her to take medicine, especially if it taste bitter.

She can be very awkward around members of the opposite gender and this can sometimes interfere with a mission. However, once she puts her focus on the task at hand, she usually forgets how the people around her look unless they speak directly to her and she chooses to acknowledge them.

She takes great pride in her home. In fact, she considers the whole village her home and the people her extended family. Because of this, she is always first to volunteer for anything that can help or protect the people. However, she never wants to be Hokage, feeling that the position would be too much of a hassle and super boring. Neena knows nothing about why she feels this way or even that it is called the Will of Fire.

Neena uses taijutsu mixed with fire element ninjutsu. She essentially looks like a fire bender when she fights. When fist and fire won’t cut it, she uses her sword. She only really needs it when fights get serious. She can surround her sword in flaming chakra.

Ninja life was considered normal for Neena from the time of her birth. Her mother was a kenjutsu master, while her father was a medical nin. At the age of five, Neena’s mother and father were gone from home a lot. She didn’t know much about the war, as she was very young at that time. She entered academy a year later and heard a lot about it from the other kids, who also had parents involved in the war. Many of them lost their parents.
It became clear to Neena that she seriously needed to work on her physical ability if she ever wanted to be a ninja, especially if there was even the slightest chance her generation would be continuing this war. This meant long sessions of kenjutsu training with her mother after school. Her sensai noticed her problems, as well, and encouraged her to learn taijutsu. She never could quite get healing right, so she went for the sword instead. Her father was far from happy with this but her mother was thrilled. It wasn't quite what she wanted to do, however, so the sword became an extension of her other jutsu. Her love of fire also led her down a path to learning fire jutsu, which was easier for her than working with a sword.

The war ended when she graduated the academy at the age of nine. It was a relief for her not to have to worry about rushing off to die just out of the academy, as the kids cruelly teased she would. However, the threat wasn’t over. She had to help her father evacuate the hospital when the nine tail fox attacked. This was difficult for her, as he did not approve of her decision to take the path of a fighter rather than a healer. She tried to prove herself to him by saving someone who was nearly crushed by a large piece of rubble. Thanks to her taijutsu practice, she didn’t even have to draw her sword. They argued about the merits of strength versus healing, although they were both happy to be alive and there were so few casualties. Her mother suffers a wound in the battle and is unable to train her for a few months. She spent all that time training under another master. Aside from training, she remained busy with missions. Her team pushed hard to complete what they were assigned quickly, especially if there were assigned to something outside the village. They still feared that something else might attack.

Neena’s brother was born a few months after she turned fourteen. The same month, she barely passed her chunin exams. This was a great year for her family. She knew very little about it, but heard about the genocide of one of the most prominent clans in the village. Her training and missions both increased and she felt like she had to push herself to her limits in order to ever advance. In time, she had developed a special set of jutsu. This was the edge she needed to pass the tests to become a jounin.

After becoming a jounin at the age of eighteen, Neena focused heavily on perfecting her jutsu. She helped out around the village as much as she could, but spent majority of her time either on a mission or trying to become stronger. She felt that the stronger she got, the easier missions would become, and that was true. One day, she wanted to be the kind of ninja that would lead a team of young genin down a path that would instill the same pride, she felt for her home, in them. At the age of 22, the she is injured in a mission and forced to remain at the hospital despite her wishes. Neena is forbidden from getting involved in the fight against Orichimaru, her father prevents her from doing so, telling her that if she wants to help out she can assist him in moving the patients to safety. She did so, and protected them despite her wounds.

Three days ago the red haired jounin had been sent out on a mission. Gathering information from villages in a neighboring country was easy, but time consuming work. She only had to hit certain locations that were known for their loose lipped government officials. It was easy work, getting overworked men drunk and talking. Even easier for a woman. All she had to do was pay off some of the locals to do the dirty work for her while she sat back and listened. Thanks to a streak of good luck, one of her targets was easy to get drunk, and was so annoyed with his position that he spilled more information than she needed to hear.

An involuntary shiver made its way through the small frame of the swordswoman as she stepped through the gates of Konoha. Taking a deep breath, she looked around quickly. With a sigh, the violet eyed woman relaxed. Everything seemed to be the same. She continued forward and began to hum a tune, her hands grasping the shoulder straps of her backpack.

“NEENA!”

She froze. That voice; that annoying whiney voice. It had to be Shizi, the neighbor girl. The child was constantly over at her house asking all kinds of questions about being a ninja. The most common ones were really creepy, usually involving gruesome deaths.

“Neena Neena Neena. Did you have fun on your mission? Did you kill anybody? Did their guts fall out? Do people really poop their pants when they die?”

The kunoichi closed her eyes and took a deep breath, counting to ten in her head as she slowly released it. This was not the person she wanted to talk to right now.

“Yes. No. No. Yes. Shouldn’t you be in school?”

The child giggled.

“Silly head, it’s a vacation day.”

Neena smirked and patted the girl on the head.

“You know what would be really fun? Let’s play hide and seek. You go hide and I’ll look for you. If I don’t find you by the time the sun starts to set, you win.”

The little girl skipped in circles around Neena, a grin spreading across her face.

“I’m gonna play with Neeeeenaaa, I’m gonna play with Neeeeeeenaaa”

“You’re gonna lose if you don’t hurry up and hide!”

Shizi giggled and jumped off to find a suitable hiding place. Neena let out a sigh of relief. The small girl was the last person she really wanted to see first thing after returning home. What she wanted was a good meal and some time to write up her mission report in peace. The one place that came to mind first was a ramen shop the local kids all seemed to enjoy. They didn’t have sushi or sweets, but she needed something more filling, right now.

She ducked into the shop and grinned. It had been a long time since she had been here. The cook and his daughter were good people who were known in the community for their honesty and hard work, not to mention their good food.

“Guess who’s back!”

Neena’s sing song greeting was the same she always used to greet her favorite shop keepers. In return, she always got a smile.

“Neena, back from a mission?”

“Yeah, was an easy one but a lot of traveling. I could use a good bowl of noodles while I write my report.”

The redhead sat down at the bar and took off her backpack before taking out some paper and a pencil. It was normal for her to write her reports rather than giving verbal reports like many others liked to do. It was especially good for those times when he missions went badly. It was easier to write out what she was thinking in a way that wouldn’t get her yelled at.
